AIG

AIG relocated the office from high zone to low zone at One Island East, the total occupied area size remain unchanged at about 40400 sqft.

Swapping the focus from the exterior to interior is our design strategy for this project since we need to manage the user’s expectation to the new space which is comparatively dark with the less attractive view.

In terms of the planning, we converted the work space from traditional setup into more open plan design, so more natural light is gained. Also, by adding wide range of new facilities such as work lounge, collaboration space, standing work point, huge pantry, focus working zone, phone booth, etc. user can have a new and collaborative way to work.

For the design look and feel, apart from the introduction of simple form, sharp color and greenery to keep the space less complicated, we also incorporate some art deco feature form and pattern inspired by “first 100 years“ from AIG as highlight to the entire space in order to enhance the interior design spatial quality.
